Brock proposed to me on New Year's Eve on St. Charles Main Street, and it couldn't have been more perfect. The Christmas lights were still up, creating this beautiful festive vibe. With the help of our best friends, Brock had planned the most incredible surprise. While I was at the bar, he snuck off with a few of our friends, and got to work setting up an amazing scene in the park. A beautiful arch, candles, and all the glowing trees. They tricked me into leaving the bar by saying a friend needed help. We all walked over to the park, in the freezing cold with no idea what was happening. When we got to the special spot, I assumed the whole setup was for someone else. Brock pulled me aside, got down on one knee, and I was completely in shock! Our closest friends were all there, and soon after, even more joined in to celebrate with us. We finished the night at a restaurant with a toast to our engagement and the new year,  It was honestly the perfect start to forever.
